What kind of club is Premiere Training Academy?

Premiere Training Academy (PTA) is a development-focused competitive soccer club built to support long-term player growth both on and off the field.

PTA is a certified Arkansas Soccer Association (ASA)–recognized club and a US Youth Soccer (USYS)–affiliated club, allowing our teams to participate in sanctioned leagues, events, and tournaments.

PTA will field Elite competitive & competitive teams for U7-U18 for boys & girls.

In addition, PTA offers:

  • Development programs for U5-U10
  • Development pathways for players not yet ready for competitive teams

Will there be defined leadership positions?

What are leaderships plans for the future of the club?

Will there be defined leadership positions?

Yes. We will have a Director of Coaching who will lead the coaching direction, tactics, philosophy, and curriculum of the club. We are looking at a technical director who will work with the Director of Coaching on practice structure, drills, training, and individul player development. We will also have a head of administration who will work on club communications, coordinating events, and many other important parts of the club to keep things organized.

Will there be defined leadership positions?

We will be using a vetting process that considers the coach's ability to embody our club principles, teach in a meaningful manner, prior experience coaching, and many other aspects to ensure we have the right coaches in place to develop the players and succeed as a team. 

All of our coaches will have a background check and go through different training to ensure they are equipped to handle all situations, including Safesport..

We are building with the future in mind through a clear 3-, 5-, and 7-year vision focused on creating more opportunities for our players.

Our plan includes pathways to higher levels of play, such as Pre-ECNL, ECNL, and collegiate soccer, while ensuring players are developed at the right pace.

We are also committed to growing soccer across Northeast Arkansas by bringing local leagues during the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons, reducing travel and strengthening the local soccer community.

A transparent roadmap is being developed to show the initiatives and goals we are working toward.

Yes. PTA operates with a clearly defined philosophy and structured curriculum using our TAC Methodology (Teach – Apply – Coach).

Our philosophy and curriculum are actively monitored by the Director of Coaching, who:

  • Attends practices
  • Conducts coaching meetings
  • Provides feedback and guidance
  • Ensures alignment across all teams

Yes. PTA plans to offer specialty development opportunities, including:

  • Goalkeeper training
  • Scoring and finishing

  • Understanding game tactics and strategy

Yes. Premiere Training Academy follows a club-wide, age-appropriate curriculum designed to support long-term player development.

Our curriculum is built around our TAC Methodology (Teach – Apply – Coach) and focuses on technical skills, game understanding, and decision-making at each age level. It is overseen by the Director of Coaching, who works with coaches to ensure consistency and alignment across all teams while allowing flexibility to meet individual player needs.

How long is the club season?

PTA follows a traditional seasonal structure:

  • Spring: Late February – Early May
  • Fall: Mid-August – Early November

We will also offer summer 3v3, 5v5 & 7v7 opportunities as well as winter Futsal.

Currently, there are no competitive youth soccer leagues based in Northeast Arkansas, requiring teams to travel outside the region.

PTA aims to help change that landscape by building and supporting competitive soccer locallyreducing travel costs while creating opportunities for families and the community to watch matches close to home.

What is the expected time commitment?

Time commitment varies by age and team level, but families can generally expect:

  • 2 team practices per week
  • State league games on weekdays or weekends if teams participate
  • Weekend Tournaments 
  • Optional third team practice
  • Optional weekly skill-building or specialty training

How are players evaluated at tryouts?

All players must complete the Premiere Training Academy Tryout Registration Form on premieretrainingacademy.com.

The website will include:

  • Registration access
  • Age group dates and times
  • Tryout locations
  • Important updates

Players are evaluated on:

  • Technical ability (dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting)
  • Competing and work rate
  • Decision-making and game understanding
  • Speed and athleticism

PTA uses a milestone-based evaluation approach to place players in the best development environment.

Players not selected will be placed in age-appropriate development programs.

Our goal is to ensure every player is in the right position, on the right team, and in the right environment to grow and thrive, with a pathway to future competitive opportunities.

Club dues will be comparable to other clubs in the area and structured to ensure families feel their investment is well spent. Final dues are announced prior to tryouts.

Yes. PTA will offer discounted packages that bundle products and programs such as:

  • Camps and clinics
  • Private and group training
  • Specialty classes
  • Specialty edition gear
  • Technology-based training

Are sibling discounts available?

Yes. PTA will provide fundraising and sponsorship opportunities to help families offset costs.

Yes. Sponsors can donate up to 500 dollars to specific teams to help with tournament fee, team apparel, or other costs the team may acrue

  • Monthly or bi-monthly club newsletters
  • Team communication via coaches and managers
  • Text alerts and notifications
  • Continued development of a club app
     

Our goal is to communicate as clearly and quickly as possible.

Players and families are expected to:

  • Attend scheduled practices and matches
  • Understand that optional practices remain optional
  • Follow the Player and Parent Code of Conduct
  • Cheer, support, and avoid coaching from the sidelines. Fall: Mid-August – Early November

PTA will have a Code of Conduct for players, parents, and coaches outlining expectations and how violations are addressed, with an emphasis on accountability and growth.

Parents are encouraged to:

  • Serve on club committees

  1. Fundraiser committee
  2. community outreach
  3. and others

We will have a form that parents can fill out with any concerns or suggestions. For immediate mantters parents may reach out to the Director of Coaches to set a phone meeting or in person meeting.

Yes. There will be a parent meeting before or during the tryouts to answer any questions as well as one during registration day. We will also try to hold one mid-season and have surveys out at the end of the season.
